Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer and Jersey Mike’s have teamed up to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research

Make a difference for kids with cancer by eating a sub at any of the 24 DFW Jersey Mike’s locations during the month of March.  Jersey Mike’s has teamed up with Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer (WOKC) for the 5th annual March Month of Giving to raise money for children battling cancer.  Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer is a Dallas-based nonprofit organization with the mission to work relentlessly for the day when all children are living cancer-free.

From March 1-31, Jersey Mike’s will donate 25 cents of every regular sub sold and 50 cents of every giant sub sold to WOKC.

On Wednesday, March 26, WOKC Day, Jersey Mike’s will donate 100% of sales to Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer.

Cancer is the #1 disease killer of American children, and their only hope of a cure is through more research.  The Month of Giving partnership between Jersey Mike’s and WOKC has raised a total of $325,000 over the last four years.  This money has been used to fund 12 research projects and programs in search of a cure and better treatments for children fighting cancer.

The Month of Giving has also given hope to the WOKC Ambassadors, a special group of kids undergoing cancer treatment at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth.  The WOKC Ambassadors represent the other 1,000+ pediatric cancer patients in the DFW area, and are the heroes behind the WOKC mission.

Please support this great cause by eating at Jersey Mike’s during March, and spread the word to all your friends, family and business contacts.  Make a difference for kids with cancer … one sub at a time.  For more information visit:  www.wokc.org.
