Join North Texas Kids at Stephanies Day

Stephanie's Day Dallas 2012

This FREE event is for special needs children and their families

When: Saturday  June 16th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Where: North Park Center(on level one, near Macy’s) in Dallas

Stephanies Day is presented by the Gene and Jerry Jones Family Dallas Cowboys Charities in partnership with the Autism Treatment Center.  It will feature interactive fun for children and helpful information for parents. Representatives from various healthcare providers, therapy services, camps, advocacy groups and other organizations will offer information on local resources available for special needs children.

Stephanie’s Day will feature performances by the Mavs ManiAACs and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey ambassador clowns Slappy and Monday, a demonstration by the Dallas Dog & Disc Club, as well as FREE activities like face painting, games, music therapy, and more.

Scheduled appearances include representatives from the CBS 11 and TXA 21 on-air team, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the Dallas Mavericks Dancers.  Prizes will be provided by the Texas Rangers, the AT&T Performing Arts Center, Six Flags Over Texas and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

“Each year after Stephanie’s Day, we hear from parents who are so grateful to have found valuable information and services for their children, and that’s exactly the reason we do it,” said CBS 11 and TXA 21 President and General Manager Gary Schneider. “We also think the kids will really enjoy this year’s entertainment and activities.”
