Kids for the Cure 2012

Kids can support the cause – Plano Race for the Cure, Saturday June 9th

You don’t have to be a grown-up to help fight breast cancer!  Kids up to the age of 12 may register as Kids for the Cure participants. Registration is $18 for children up to twelve years old.  Participants ll get a specially designed Kids for the Cure Race T-shirt and Race bib, and will be able to enjoy the fun activities in the Kids for the Cure area, sponsored by Tom Thumb.  It includes a 50-yard dash, crafts and other entertainment.

The Kids Dash starts at 9:30 a.m. and is for little Racers age 8 and under. There is no additional registration fee and the first 200 participants will receive a medal.

Remember, you can register multiple family members (including Kids and Babies) when you register yourself online at komennorthtexas.org.

Introduced last year, the Babies for the Cure registration gets babies 12 months and under a Race-themed feeding bib.

The 2012 Babies for the Cure program is sponsored by Lone Star Baby & Kids.  President & Owner, Michael J. Schaul, said “many families including the Lone Star Baby & Kids family have been touched by breast cancer.  We are delighted to help support the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure with our sponsorship of Babies for the Cure.  This is just one more way to say ‘We Care!’”
