Lone Star Circus presents Cirque Banquisté!, a breathtaking, family friendly, circus extravaganza that illuminates the imagination with performances from an international galaxy of circus superstars. Acrobats, aerialists, hand balancers, jugglers, clowns and contortionists perform together to create the most sensational circus extravaganza DFW has ever seen. Banquisté!, a shimmering spectacular of awe-inspiring proportions, celebrates the end of 2011 and the dawn of the New Year. This dazzling new production features celebrated artists from all over the world including Mexico, Canada, South America, France, Russia and the United States.

About LONE STAR CIRCUS

Lone Star Circusis the performing arm of Lone Star Circus Arts Center, a Dallas-based non-profit organization, whose purpose is to promote circus arts through training, performance and community outreach. Its Founder is Fanny Kerwich, an 8th generation circus artist of French descent, who started teaching circus arts several years ago at Dallas International School, and in her own studio, The Expressionists. Lone Star Circus Arts Center was incorporated in 2006. Its circus school, Lone Star Circus School, organizes recreational and professional training in circus arts for children and adults.     Actually my family on my mother’s side was the Barnum Bailey’s so I have circus in my blood. As a kid I would imagine being one of the beautiful girls that rode on the elephants. I think even as an adult I would still want to do that.

    I love the circus – Have not been in ages. Saw Gunther Gabel his first year with the circus and actually saw him his last year. Awesome trainer.
    Did I tell you I love the circus? I decorated my daughter’s room in circus motif when she was born.
