Musical Animals
June 9-13, 1PM-4PM; $160

Campers from PreK-6th grade will stuff three 15″ stuffed animals and take them on a geographical, musical adventure “around the world” as they learn about various musical instruments, genres, and culture. The week’s activities include games, dress-up, and a talent show.

Campers from PreK-6th grade will stuff three 15″ stuffed animals and take them on a creative adventure as they learn about various types of art including mosaics, sculpture, painting on canvas…and music! Lots of hands-on activities and opportunities for self-expression.

Trinity River Farm offers summer horse camps for kids ages 7-17. We teach English riding in a fun-filled, relaxed atmosphere. All campers receive daily riding instruction and participate in a variety of fun and educational activities that is all about horses, safety, and their care. Campers ride daily, and participate in many fun activities including arts & crafts projects, trail riding, and teaching demonstrations. Our covered arena and giant shade trees allow campers to have fun and still beat the heat. We are a working farm, with horses and ponies of all sizes and a full array of farm animals.

The camp schedule runs June 9 through August 8, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Cost of the camp is $400.00/week.

The Baylor Golf Academy Overnight Camp is designed to develop junior golfers of all abilities and skill levels. Campers will receive basic and advanced instruction that is required to excel on the collegiate level.

Who can attend: Boys and Girls, Ages 10-18
Cost: Resident Camper – $1000
Day Camper: $750

Camp Cost: Includes all instruction, green fees, practice balls, evening activities, room, and board. The day camper fee includes all of the above except room and breakfast. Campers will also enjoy the use of the V1 swing analysis and the use of the Trackman launch monitor during the week.

Camp Size: The camp will be limited to the first 40 campers. Campers will be organized by age and skill level for more effective learning.

Course & Practice Facility: Twin Rivers Golf Club – designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, Twin Rivers boasts a variety of features including elevation changes, dense wooded areas and several lakes and rivers.

Bill & Roberta Bailey Golf Center – the home of Baylor’s men’s and women’s golf teams which houses an indoor practice area, complete with state-of-the-art video equipment for analyzing player’s swings.

Camp Staff: The camp is directed by Greg Priest, who will be assisted by the Baylor coaching staff, collegiate coaches, high school coaches, and current and former Baylor players. All coaches and counselors are experienced at working with young players and will provide attendees with outstanding instruction in a serious but fun learning environment.

The Dallas Sidekicks are excited to offer instructional camps this summer to further ignite a passion for soccer in DFW and advance both the indoor and outdoor games. The camps will feature instruction from your favorite current and former Dallas Sidekicks players and coaches.

Camp curriculum is designed for ages 5-12 and is centered around the fundamentals of passing, controlling, dribbling, shooting, heading and defending. All skills are then emphasized in small scrimmages. Autograph sessions are performed at the end of each day as the Sidekicks players rotate from camp to camp. Pit your skills against the Sidekicks themselves as you scrimmage against them on the last day of camp!

Sidekicks camps are $160 for the five-day session. Campers will receive a t-shirt, soccer ball, and autographs from Sidekicks players. Campers may also sign-up a buddy for the camp and both participants will receive a $10 discount on the camp fee.

  4. What about a Minecraft camp? It seems like SMU had one last summer? Do you know of any for 9-10 yr olds?

    • I would give them a call directly or check out their website (SMU), perhaps they are and/or if they aren’t maybe they will if they have enough interest!

    • The SMU website with course descriptions goes live tomorrow (3/5) and I belive that Minecraft is a topic again this summer along with other similar areas of interest.

      UTA has Minecraft camps. My son and 7 friends just took a winter session and loved it. They offer summer camps as well. TCU and SMU have Minecraft camps through IDTECH. We are considering the TCU location but have not heard if it is worth the 899.00 price as opposed to the less expensive UTA camps.

            Click on the date/time stamp in grey then copy the url. Or, go to your page and then copy the url and paste it here. If the post is designated as public, we should be able to see it.
