Special Flashback Episode, “Dentist of Detroit,” Focuses on Mozzie’s (Willie Garson) Past Premieres Tonight, Tuesday, June 28 at 9/8c on USA
USA Network’s WHITE COLLAR premieres a special episode (“Dentist of Detroit”) tonight, Tuesday, June 28 at 9/8c that gives viewers a glimpse into Mozzie’s (Willie Garson) past and how he got his signature name. Through a series of flashbacks, viewers learn of Mozzie’s troubled childhood, his journey through the foster care system and how one advocate and mentor (guest star Ernie Hudson) made a lasting difference in his life.
As a companion to the special episode and part of USA Network’s signature Characters Unite public service campaign to promote unity and acceptance, the entire cast is featured in a PSA at the conclusion of the show to raises awareness of the thousands of children waiting, just like a young Mozzie, for the support and love of an adoptive family. An issue close to Garson’s heart, his real-life 10-year-old adopted son Nathen is featured in the PSA which was shot & produced on set of the series in New York. An additional PSA featuring star Willie Garson and his son Nathen will run throughout the series third season on USA Network.
The PSA directs viewers to charactersunite.com where they can get additional information on foster care and adoption. The site also provides resources, including from the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and Kidsave International, on how to get involved and help make a difference in children’s lives. The PSA with the entire WHITE COLLAR cast, as well as a version with Garson and his son, will also be available at charactersunite.com.
WHITE COLLAR, currently in its third season, stars Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Tiffani Thiessen, Willie Garson, Marsha Thomason, Hilarie Burton and Sharif Atkins.
