Oatmeal

No recipe needed. Don’t use the instant kind, it’s full of sugar and chemicals plus it’s more expensive. Oatmeal is so easy to make and takes less than 5 minutes in the microwave. Top with some milk or yogurt and fruit. Serve with 2 breakfast sausages.

Granola with Fresh Fruit and Yogurt

Get some of your favorite granola, top with some plain greek yogurt and add fresh berries for a healthy breakfast or after school snack!

Fruit Smoothie with Protein Powder

Find a vanilla flavored protein powder that you like. Whey is a good choice if you don’t have a milk allergy.  Add the following, blend together and serve.

1 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
½ banana
1 cup raw, organic baby spinach
1 cup coconut water
A few drops of Stevia (optional – you might find the banana and coconut water are enough)
