Napkin Folding Ideas for a Kid’s Party
I recently received a wonderful book for review called Top 100 Napkin Folds. Now that temperatures are cooling down in Dallas, it’s time to think about outdoor patio parties on cool fall evenings or a birthday party for you child at a local park.
My daughter loves making any party special; that might include creating place cards for the guests, writing out the menu or fun napkin folding so I was delighted to flip through the 100 examples of napkin folds in this book. The illustrations are incredible and the instructions are easy to follow. Holidays are right around the corner, too. This book would make a great gift for your favorite hostess.
Some of our favorite napkin folds included the Orchid, the Heart and the Clown Hat. The book is well organized by type of party and includes both formal parties, theme parties and casual game night party ideas. One adorable idea was to use a bandana as a “loot bag” for a child’s birthday party. You could fill the napkin with a gift, small toys or candy. Love this idea!
Here is an example of an Airplane Napkin fold that would be perfect for any airplane afficiando’s in your family. My dad was a fighter pilot, what a fun way to commemorate his life. Of course, my son and husband are both obsessed with anything that flies and my husband would love to learn to fly a plane some day. I see lots of airplane napkin folding in my near future.
