It’s Back to School again and while my kids are excited about seeing their friends, they are dreading the onslaught of homework! In fact, my son came home from school on Day 2 with Math homework. One day you wake up to find your child has picked up the mess off the floor of their bedroom, cleaned under their bed, and organized their closet. You soon realize it was just a dream and wonder if and when it will be your reality.
Unfortunately I woke up from this dream a long time ago. Kids will be kids and frankly, most children think cleaning and organizing is just not important. It takes too long to accomplish, gets messy again too soon, and slows them down from doing the things they really want to do.
