Santas Village in Richardson – Fun Family Tradition
Looking for a fun family holiday event to celebrate the holiday season?
Santa’s Village located in Richardson opens Saturday December 1st at 6:00pm!
We have been going as a family for the past 2 years and it is now officially a yearly tradition. The area is set up with unique and fun kid size houses. Each house has a special theme and a different experience in each one.
Mia’s favorite is the post office where kids can write a letter to Santa and put it in the big mailbox. Letters are picked up nightly and sent to the North Pole.
Carson enjoyed the Beary Good Hospital house! Kids had their weight and height checked, super fun !
They made a cute quick craft in the Ornament House. At the Richardson Fire Department house which is painted red and decked out with dalmatian dog decorations, they tried on a fireman jacket and hat. We all said hello to Mrs. Claus in the Gingerbread House (and got a special cookie). They took pictures with the Cat in the Hat (and Thing 1 and Thing 2) in the Dr Seuss house sponsored by the Richardson Library.
Live entertainment on the main stage each night (check the schedule on-line)
It is open from 6:00-9:00pm, but you won’t want to miss the grand entrance of Santa, who arrives on a fire truck, so be there at 6:00pm SHARP ! Dress Warmly.
Santa’s Village is open regardless of the weather. December 1 and 2, December 6-9, and December 13-16, 2012
Santa’s Village is located on the lawn at the City Hall/Civic Center Complex, 411 W. Arapaho in Richardson, TX.
