Simple Halloween Craft Fun with Foam Pumpkins, Sharpie Markers
This is one of the simplest Halloween Crafts we have ever created. There is nothing I love better than a simple, easy, no mess, no cleanup, inexpensive craft that my kids love! Last time I was at Michael’s, they had foam pumpkins on sale. I think I paid about $2.00 for a package of 12. I always have Sharpie markers around and the kids love using them. This craft required no glue, stickers or anything but our imaginations! I was proud of the kids. We had fun thinking of funny, silly, decorative and scary pumpkin faces!
Maggie picked black ribbon to string them all together. She punched holes in the pumpkins and then used one long piece of ribbon to string them all together.
What I love about this craft is that my 12 year old son and my 10 year old daughter both enjoyed it!
You could do this with any age child that can hold a marker.
You could also see Liz’ post on making holiday bannersand cut shapes from black foam and glue them on. You could buy stickers of pumpkin faces to stick on at Michael’s or another craft store. I love self-adhesive shapes and stickers! Both Michael’s and Hobby Lobby have great coupons when you sign up for the email reminders. Jo-Ann’s has some cute Halloween stickers and crafts as well!
Quick, easy crafts like this are great for kids and for parents, too. My kids want to participate and be creative, but they don’t always want to spend hours crafting with me!
