Easter Basket Ideas Other Than Candy
Candy and chocolate are the most popular Easter basket fillers. If you’re looking for something other than candy to fill your child’s Easter basket, here are a few ideas to think about.
Healthy Snacks
Fill plastic eggs, Easter themed containers or use a bag tied with ribbon with healthy snack foods like dried fruit, nuts, trail mix, mini granola bars and fruit roll ups. Annie’s has a nice variety of organic bunny shaped snacks that kids love too.
Toys & Games
Small toys are a great addition to any Easter basket. These can include things like small party favors, costume jewelry, bubbles, travel puzzles, jump ropes, jacks & balls or even stuffed animals. Check out your neighborhood dollar store to see what they have in stock. Easter treats can be educational too. You could add activity books, puzzle books or a favorite book your child might enjoy reading.
Craft Items
If your child enjoys crafts, you could consider scrapbooking supplies, beading kits, crayons or markers, coloring books, water paints, stickers & sticker books, play dough or modeling clay or gel pens.
Spa Items
Depending on the age of your child, she may enjoy bubble bath, body lotion, shower gel and other spa items. If your daughter is old enough, you could add nail polish, lip gloss and other make up items.
