North Texas Kids is DFW’s Best Online Resource for raising happy, healthy kids!
Liz is the Manager and Owner of www.northtexaskids.com.
I continue to champion one of the NTK company philosophies that women can have it all. I make the choice (everyday) to be a working mom dedicated to her husband, children, family, friends AND career. I graduated from the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) with a degree in Sociology. My two “Texas born” kids (ages 6 and 4) keep me busy and remind me every day not to take life too seriously. I try to live in the moment as much as possible as nothing speeds up the hands of time like having kids! My Texas native husband is an avid golfer, an involved dad and my perfect partner. I can be a workaholic. I embrace technology (addicted to Pinterest, you should follow me), but still can’t get rid of my “momAgenda calendar”. I love primetime TV shows (thank goodness for my DVR) and I am a big sports fan (did I say Go Ducks!). I have been a figure skating coach for the past 20 years and currently coach a youth Synchronized Skating Team (think synchronized swimming on ice).

Her own babies are now 13 and 10 and have grown up right along with NTK over the years. Minette loves crafts, cooking, nature and watching American Idol with her 10 year old daughter. In my “past life” I earned a degree in Education at TCU and taught elementary school. But these days, I am working as a super stay-at-home-mom with a serious craft addiction. During naptime, I am an avid blogger, runner, and nester. My blog is the place where I chronicle my journey in homemaking and sell my fabulous handmade bows, tutus, and hair accessories. I have a loving husband and two young daughters. Their enthusiasm and support is what drives my creativity in home decor, unique crafts, party planning, holiday fun, and all things girly. I am dedicated to creating a warm, loving home for my family. And to me, that means a lot of ‘crafty how-to’ projects along the way. I believe that life can be more fabulous with the use of polka dots, tulle, ribbon and rhinestones! I hope you enjoy sharing in our adventures and that I can inspire you to ‘get crafty’ in your own home.
