Our neighborhood seems to be over run with precious bunny rabbits. At least they are precious when they are NOT nibbling on my flowers! The malls are over run with bunnies of the Easter variety! Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area will cap off a March “Month of Giving” fundraising campaign for Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer (WOKC), with a citywide community fund raising finale on Monday, March 28, by giving customers a free regular sub in exchange for a minimum $1 donation to the charity. Jersey Mike’s has dubbed this final day of the Month of Giving, “Wipe Out Kids’ Cancer Day”, and is donating 100% of the proceeds of all regular subs sold in the DFW area to WOKC and hopes that customers will give at least what they would have paid for the sub.

This is a free event for families! Free ice skating from 12pm to 2pm, along with a snow machine on the ice. Lots of other crafts and activities after the skating. We’ll be there and would love to have you join us!
My daughter and I love to cook together on the weekends. Our biggest challenge is usually what to make. How exciting to have a whole set of new ideas from Annabel Karmel. I think for lunch today we will try the Little Pita Pizzas and Caesar Salad. She is having a play date with her friend Logan, so this will be fun for both of them.
I got this press release from the Crow Collection of Asian Art, as part of the Arts in October events this weekend, a group of 10 Tibetan Monks will be creating (and ultimatley sweeping away) a large mandala made out of colored sand.
