Holiday Lights Spectacular at Vitruvian Park

Vitruvian Park transforms into a magical Holiday wonderland weekends through January 1st. Event is free.


Enchant Christmas

Whether you’re navigating through the world’s largest Christmas light maze, gliding around the ice-skating pond, waltzing through the Christmas marketplace, or sharing hot cocoa with your loved ones, you’ll find enchantment around every corner. See the park transformed into a winter wonderland with millions of twinkling lights during Holiday in the Park, select days through January 2nd.

Cedar Hill

Historic Downtown Cedar Hill
Celebrate the holiday season and the magical story of The Polar Express at the annual Holiday on the Hill celebration in Downtown Cedar Hill. There will be train rides, plenty of holiday kids activities, festive crafts, a reindeer petting zoo, live performances, photos with Santa, and the official lighting of the City of Cedar Hill tree. Kids are encouraged to wear their pajamas just like in the story. You don’t want to miss this FREE family event!


Whistle Stop Christmas

Come experience the sights and sounds of a Christmas wonderland with over 3 ½ million lights decorating Hulen Park in Cleburne, Texas through December 31st. See schedule of events for times and other activities occurring through out the holiday season

The Colony

The Colony Christmas Spectacular

The Colony Christmas Spectacular light show at is choreographed to music and can be seen every evening starting Saturday, December 2, 2017 thru Sunday, January 7, 2018; 5:30pm – 10:30pm Sunday – Thursday / 5:30pm – 10:50pm Friday – Saturday. Tune your radio to 99.9FM to enjoy the music.


Dallas Arboretum

This holiday season experience the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden’s one-of-a-kind exhibition, The 12 Days of Christmas through January 7th. Daytime hours free with general admission; separate charge for night time hours – see website for details. Exhibit features an collection of 25-foot Victorian style gazebos filled with the charming costumed characters, whimsical animals and music.

Dallas Zoo Lights

After the animals head in for the evening, the Dallas Zoo will be transformed into a winter wonderland with nearly 1 million twinkling lights illuminating the night sky throughout the holidays. Features performances, light shows, photos ops, kids activities and special treats. Every Friday through Sunday, as well as select weeknights. Visit website for additional details.

Holiday Wonder at Fairpark

Magical Lights. Lifetime of Memories. Family-friendly event illuminates holiday season with artistic wonderland creations, attractions and performances. Open daily 5:30pm – 10:00pm through January 7th. Visit website for pricing.

Trains at North Park

This holiday family tradition has become a favorite for generations of Dallasites and includes 1600 feet of track rolling from coast to coast on a whimsical rail journey across America. Monday through Saturday  10 am to 9 pm, Sunday 12 pm to 6 pm; through January 7th. Farmers Branch

Christmas Tour of Lights

Open through December 30th. The Tour of Lights is a drive-thru animated display that will amaze you with over 500,000 twinkling lights. You’ll travel through a variety of different scenes, each with their own theme, from fantasy to patriotic. There’s festive holiday music and the grand finale is the animated show in the Farmers Branch Historical Park with Santa Claus himself.


Christmas in the Square

Christmas in the Square draws over 750,000 visitors annually. Families, friends and holiday guests from all over come and enjoy the spectacular show. The Holiday lights and music will run daily 6-10 PM through December 31st.

Fort Worth

Gift of Lights

The Gift of Lights is back and this family-friendly holiday show is a great opportunity to share the joy of the season with friends and family. Located at the Texas Motor Speedway, you will enjoy a 2 mile light park with over 500 amazing light displays every night of the week from 6pm – 10pm through December 30th.

Starlight Symphony

Crockett Row’s family-friendly holiday celebration, Starlight Symphony, is back to make this festive season merry and bright! Set to the beat of favorite holiday tunes, Crockett Row will be transformed into a glowing wonderland with a 5-minute music & lights show every night through December 31st from 6pm – 9pm. On Friday and Saturday evenings, families and friends will enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides around Crockett Row. Community and local choirs, vocalists and musicians will also perform from Crockett Square on the weekends. Visit website for additional details.

Grand Prairie

Prairie Lights

Christmas on Main

Step back in time this season at Christmas on Main! With the beautiful backdrop of the Victorian-style buildings dressed up with ribbons, bows and wreaths set aglow with twinkling lights, guests of all ages can enjoy the beautiful Christmas scene.  Enjoy a tractor-drawn wagon ride, Christmas photo opportunities and holiday entertainment at the Town Square Gazebo. December 1, 2 & 3 ; December 8, 9 & 10; December 15, 16 & 17; December 22 -23

Light Show Spectacular

The beloved Light Show Spectacular returns to the Grapevine Christmas Tree located next to the Town Square Gazebo along Historic Main Street. This sparkling family favorite is approximately 20 minutes in length and runs continuously from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. nightly through January 7th.

Highland Park

Highland Park Christmas Light Tours

Touring the beautiful lights and homes of Highland Park has been a grand tradition of the holiday season for many years. Suggested place to star your light tour is at Armstrong Parkway and Preston Road. It’s free to drive through; carriage rides are available for a fee.


Holiday Lights at Centennial Park

Beginning with a Holiday Extravaganza on December 2nd, holiday lights will be on display through December 25th from dusk – 10:00pm.


Deerfield Holiday Lights

Deerfield is located in Northwest Plano between Preston Rd. and Coit Rd. Enter from Legacy on Colonnade or Archgate. Watch all signs, drive carefully and enjoy the holiday lights! They are usually on between the hours of 7pm-10pm during the entire month of December. Should you decide to walk the neighborhood, please park on a street at the far north part of Deerfield, close to Quincy Rd. and not on one of our busy streets as it will cause a major traffic jam.


Santa’s Village

Santa’s Village, a tiny town of 16 holiday dwellings on the north side of City Hall (at 411 W Arapaho Rd) is a FREE holiday tradition for families from Richardson and beyond. Each colorful building offers children a fun activity and even a visit with Santa Claus! Attendees can also enjoy live performances, holiday photo ops and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate or a snack. Santa’s Village is open regardless of the weather. Friday, Saturday and Sunday December 2nd – 17th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.


Santa’s Village

Nothing marks the holidays like pictures with Santa Claus. Kids of all ages can visit with the jolly fella in the big red suit at Santa’s Village in Rustin Park through Decmeber 24th. Visit website for specific dates and times.
