Balloonacy: Making Friends with a Curious Red Balloon

Balloonacy - Dallas Children's Theater

Balloonacy at Dallas Children’s Theater through April 19th

A lonely old man is set in his silent, solitary ways until a curious red balloon blows through his window and insists on becoming his friend.  DCT’s own Karl Schaeffer fills the stage with tenderness and physical comedy in Balloonacy, showing audiences of all ages that we must find time to play. Recommended for Ages 2 and up.

This play was the winner of the American Association of Theatre in Education Distinguished Play Award, and has been enjoyed by many squirmy toddlers and their families! You’re never too young for theater. You’re never too old to play.

Balloonacywill be unlike any other DCT production with preschool-friendly activities included with every performance, including an expression room, an I Spy activity in the lobby and a DCT teaching artist leading the interactive activities.
