Celebrate with your family at the Dadfest 5K and Festival
Dadfest is an annual event that creates a forum for Dads and their families to gather together to celebrate their lives, their health and their importance to the American family.
Dadfest is a great old-time event that has fun for everyone. The whole family can run, walk or ride along in a stroller on the 5K course. Children 8 and under can test their running skills in the 50 yard dash. Crawlers can race to dad in the diaper dash. After the race, cool off in the Galatyn Park fountains or race Dad to the top of the rock climbing wall. Dress up to look like dad and participate in the father/child look-a-like contest.
A FREE prostate cancer risk assessment and screening will be offered from 8:00am-11:00am for men age 40 and older.
There are registration fees to participate in the run events but the festival and screening are FREE. Visit all of the vendors at the event to be eligible for a drawing to win 4 one-day passes to Six Flags. Register for the run at dadfest.com or call 214-345-5030 for more information.
