Save the date! The Dallas Mayor’s Back to School Fair is back this August as Drive Thru and Walk Thru event.
Mayor Eric Johnson is excited to host the 25th Annual Mayor’s Back to School Fair at on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Fair Park (3809 Grand Avenue, Dallas, TX 75210). The popular annual event provides Dallas students and families with essential school supplies.
Similar to last year’s event, this year’s Back to School Fair will be much more condensed than in the past.
There will be two options to pick up school supplies.
Drive-Thru Only Fair
Friday, August 6, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The drive-thru fair is strictly for vehicles only.
Upon arrival at the drive-thru fair, families must remain in their vehicles and volunteers will load the school supplies in the trunk or bed of the vehicle.
Walk-Up Only Fair
Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Registration is required and closes on Friday, July 30th. Supplies are limited.
Participants are required to pre-register and show their confirmation number in order to receive their school supplies.
As in the past, families will need to meet certain income requirements and must be Dallas residents or have a student attending a Dallas ISD school.
