Dog Day Afternoon, June 19th at Flag Pole Hill Park

Dallas Sidekicks have recently partnered with Operation Kindness and will be joining in on their Annual “Dog Day Afternoon” at Flag Pole Hill Park in Dallas! This is a free event with vendors, goody bags, and families can bring their dogs or come and look for a dog to adopt!

Dog Day Afternoon was created by Operation Kindness in 1994 to recognize dog supporters, adopters and advocates. More than 2,000 people and 800 dogs are expected to attend the event, which also serves as a fundraiser for the nonprofit.

Pet adoptions – adoption fees to help benefit homeless and unwanted animals
Free stuff! Goodie bags for the first 1,000 humans and micro-chipping for the first 25 dogs (limit two dogs per owner)

Cost: Free admission and parking. Food and vendor merchandise available for purchase.
