This Apple Crisp is a quick and easy dessert, perfect for a football watching party. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and you will have a tasty and satisfying treat that everyone in your crowd will enjoy.
*For a larger crowd double the batch and use a 13” rectangle shaped glass dish
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup quick oats
1 cup flour
½ cup melted butter
3 cups sliced apples
½ cup sugar and 2 tsp ground cinnamon (mix together)
How to:
In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, oats, flour and melted butter.
Press half of the mixture into an 8 inch square glass dish (lightly sprayed with Crisco)
Layer with the sliced apples
Top the apples with the sugar/cinnamon mixture
Add the remaining half of the (sugar/oats/flour/butter) mixture
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes, until it is hot, bubbling and the top “crust” is browned.
