Hawaiian Falls 10 Year Celebration - The Rush

Hawaiian Falls Celebrates 10 years on June 10th

Hawaiian Falls will celebrate its 10th birthday at its original waterpark in Garland on Monday, June 10. As part of the celebration, the public is invited to help set a record of 10 hours of continuous sliding down The Rush, a dark tube slide with multi-sensory special effects such as lights, misters and music.

“We are so excited to mark this milestone with our friends,” said Hawaiian Falls CEO David Busch. “First, we thank Garland’s city leaders who had the vision to join us in this amazing public-private partnership. And we want to recognize the loyal families who have made our park their own for the past decade. Many kids have grown up at our park. Some grew up and came to work with us. Many have gone on to start careers and families of their own. We’re blessed to be part of so many happy stories.”

Kids born between June 11, 2002 – June 10, 2003 (10-year-olds) can get in free before noon at all five locations on June 10, 2013.

Kids 10 and under can get in for only $10 all day at any of the five waterparks with a special coupon, which is available at  There will also be food and drink specials at each park throughout the day.

“Over the past 10 years, we’ve invested more than $70 million in North Texas; employed 10,750 young people and entertained 9.4 million guests,” adds Busch.  “In the process, we’ve created tens of millions of lifetime memories. And we feel like we’ve only begun to accomplish our mission.”

Celebrating 10 years of bringing families closer together, Hawaiian Falls’ regular operating schedule is daily 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday – Thursday and until 8 p.m. on Fridays through Labor Day.  Hawaiian Falls’ season passes are good for admission to all five waterparks, including Garland, The Colony, Mansfield, Roanoke and Waco.  More information is available at
