Camp Carter YMCA has been serving the youth of Fort Worth for 65 years, we offer programs steeped in tradition and fun! Winter Camp is an overnight program for campers aged 7-16. Cabins are divided by gender and age, and are supervised by 2 counselors at all times. Activities include archery, canoeing, hiking, team sports, horseback riding, as well as nightly smores and camp fires. There are 3 cooked meals a day, as well as camp store! Camp Carter emphasizes the YMCA core values, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring in all of its programs.

Don’t let your child “spin their wheels” during winter break!  Bring your child to Kids ‘R’ Kids of West Allen for EXCITING FIELD TRIPS, a FULL CURRICULUM and the perfect opportunity to make FRIENDS and MEMORIES!  Our theme for this winter is All Things Mechanical!  We will be learning about how animals’ bodies are like machines with working parts while we visit Sci-Tech Discovery Center’s Animal Grossology Exhibit!  We will also PLAY with machines when Games2U brings their mobile entertainment to us and at NickelRama which is full of quality arcade games for our children to enjoy!  We will end our break with leaps and bounds of fun at ASI Gymnastics!

Do you have an aspiring artist curious about the tattoo culture? Don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind opportunity for students 14-18 years old. Virtuoso Tattoo will provide a safe, family friendly environment for your child to explore their curiosity of tattooing. Students will receive a fun history lesson on modern day tattooing as an art form, learn how drawing for the skin differs from other mediums and even design their own paper tattoo stencil to take home. If you are looking for a fun and safe activity for your child to do during this winter break, then Exposure’s Holiday Kids Camp is the thing for you. At our camps, kids will learn how to belay (work safety ropes), basic climbing techniques, team building skills and much more.

Exposure offers two different holiday camp packages: the five day camp (includes not only climbing but also other team building activities) and the three day camp (mostly climbing). Exposure’s Holiday Kids Camp is not only a fun way to spend this holiday break, but is also a great beginning for a child who wants to find a new sport.

    My 7 year old twins would LOVE the Exposure Rock Climbing camp. We’ve done rock climbing once at a birthday party over a year ago. They would love to learn how to do this as an endurance, neat skillset.
