Through the Lens…Images of Plano Photography Contest and Fine Art Show
AlleeOops Photography and OwnAPieceOfTexas.net present Through the Lens…Images of Plano benefitting Heritage Farmstead Museum. The event couples a photo contest with the preview of fine art prints showcasing Plano.
Through the Lens…Images of Plano encourages photographers to compete in a photo contest celebrating where Plano is today, where we have been and we are going. AlleeOops Photography won the 2011 Plano Chamber of Commerce Art Contest and at that time began a journey to preserve Plano’s changing landscape.
The photo contest is open to all photographers 13 years and older. Individuals and organizations alike may enter one or more selections. Review the rules, categories and prizes at www.alleeoops.com or ownapieceoftexas.net. Winners will be revealed at a reception on April 14, 5:30-7:30 at Heritage Farmstead Museum. Winning photos will be displayed and sold to help benefit the museum.
The Best of Show Winner will not only be showcased at Heritage Farmstead, but the Art Centre of Plano has agreed to display the winning photograph at the Art Centre of Plano‘s May 18 event, For the Love of Art.
North Texas Kids founder Dr. Minette Riordan is honored to be one of the judges for this event.
The event will also showcase fine art pieces from OwnAPieceOfTexas.Net.
