The State Fair of Texas launches its new Summer Adventures in Fair Park Friday night, May 3. Enter for a chance to win a family four-pack to this invitation-only event. The four-pack vouchers allow entry to Summer Adventures from 6 to 10 p.m. You can be on-hand to watch an unprecedented fireworks display from the new Top o’ Texas, Summer Adventures’ new 500-ft.-tall tower ride, the largest in the country. After the fireworks show, test drive the park’s rides, attractions and fantastic food.

I’m doing this on behalf of friend who is a single father with sons. He takes his role as a father seriously. He is a fixture in his children’s lives and he believes the best way to teach is to be an example. He is aware of the issues that impact young men face today and believes young men need a constant,strong father presence in their life who will lead, teach, communicate and support them. He instills in them Christian values, love and respect for themselves and others and the need for education. I know the children would highly enjoy an outing to the special preview of Summer Adventures in Fair Park. Plus, it would be a great outing for all of them.

Living just 10 minutes away we are frequent visitors to Fair Park for the Aquarium, Butterfly Gardens, and the Nature museum. The grounds are so beautiful and it is fantastic that this might draw more visitors. What a fun way to utilize this historic site in the summer. My kids will love a new activity!
I would like to win because I have a mouth for sharing, especially once I have experienced something in person. I love to tell others about the amazing things that are available in the DFW area and I am thinking this is going to be one of the top on my list!

We love fair park: the Texas state fair (of course!), butterflies at the discovery garden, musicals at the music hall, petting sting rays at the children’s aquarium, the incredible Chinese lanterns when they were here, running around and through the “serpent” sculpture and everything in between. Summer Adventures is a wonderful idea to continue to expand the fun times Texans can have at fair park, and as one of Fair park’s biggest fans we’d love to go to this VIP preview!

I am very suprised on this new Summer Adventure. I am a single mother and I would love to attend this night with my family of the grand opening. I never take my boys to the firework show when the fair opens.I know this will be a nice gift to them so that they can enjoy the attractions and rides as we do not go the fair when it opens every year.

As a Texas native, fair time has always been much anticipated for me. Every year, 4 generations of our family gather and make our annual trip to enjoy the tradition and nastalgia of the Fair Grounds. We have had birthdays at the Natural Science museum, been members of the old Science Place and strolled the halls of every venue on site. I would love to suprise my loved ones with a special trip to kick off a new chapter for Fair Park. We could even wear our RIP BIG TEX shirts we had made last year…

As a (fairly) new resident of Texas, 2 years, my family and I would love the opportunity for our FIRST time visiting Fair Park to be through this experience. We tend to still feel a little “touristy” and we are really looking for events to make it feel MORE like home. I think this family-oriented Summer Adventure is perfect!

My kids have been really looking forward to seeing Top O’ Texas ever since they saw the drawing at the State Fair. There are numerous of good reasons why people want to visit the Fair Park. Of course the most popular reason would be taste of the various of foods and the rides. The one for me is to spend fun quality time with my family watching fireworks. We get so excited about fireworks because we’re oringial from Arkansas which we are use to being able to do our own fireworks but due to Texas laws we’re unable too. My family and I use to be able to attend the Fair Park together as a family every year but lately we haven’t been able to attend due to financial situations. If we won it would such an Awesome Blessing! Oh what a joy it would be…Thanks!

My family would love this free preview! We love spending time together and enjoying the beauties for Texas. My husband and I are from NY and have been living in Texas almost 6 years, our two children where born in Texas and we want them to get the full experience of this wonderful state. Would love to take my kids to this. 🙂 They are in need of a break as well as something new to do. (Almost 5 years we’ve been in TX and haven’t been to Fair park yet.) It’d be a lot of fun. My kids love watching fireworks shows too. There is something magical about it, you almost feel childlike yourself watching them enjoy the show. 🙂

My husband and I are a doctoral students who moved recently to Texas. We only have one child who does not get to have so much fun (being a child of two graduate students). In summer, we both dedicate our time to give her the maximum fun possible, in a way to make up for the whole year. This would be a great event for me to take my kids to. They have worked really hard this school year and have overcome lots of challenges. This is our first year in Dallas, so the kids had to start over in new schools and make new friends. This would be a great reward for them. I’d love to go and take pictures and try out the foods.

I’ve been living in Dallas for over 10 years. Two of my brothers have, too. All of us met and married our spouse here. We were born in Argentina and our dad is still there. He hasn’t met some of our children yet. this June, for the first time ever he will come visit us and we will all be together for a few weeks after years of being apart. what better way to celebrate Texas than showing him this awesome place??? I think my kiddos deserve a family night with all of us. My husband and i split up but still try to do things as a family so the kids feel like everything is still the same and nothing has changed. I know they would love to spend time at the summer adventures!
We would go when I was a kid to the summer events at Fair Park. I would love to take my boys so they could have the same experience I did.
