As part of its season themed Believe, Dallas Children’s Theater invites patrons to believe in the unbelievable with acts from the award-winning Lone Star Circus’ presentation of Oh lá lá, an all-new holiday production.  The spectacular runs December 27, 2014 through January 4, 2015 at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts and it’s definitely a New Year’s tradition the whole family can enjoy.

You can’t keep a good zombie down! DCT’s Halloween tradition rises again! They’re back…they’re dead…and they’re hungry….The cult classic Night of the Living Dead returns to the DCT stage!  Radiation from a fallen satellite transforms the dead into flesh-eating zombies, and no one is safe. It’s the 1968 black and white, B-movie horror classic brought to life (figuratively speaking)! Full of thrills, chills, and dark satire,  Night of the Living Dead is intended for an audience of teens and adults, 13 years old and above.  The production contains strong language and situations and is not suitable for young children.

DCT opens season with wild and whimsical musical with an eco-friendly set

Dallas Children’s Theater begins its 2014-2015 season with Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairy Tale (Sept. 19 – Oct 26), with a sensory friendly performance on Saturday, Oct 11. The scenery for this hilarious musical will be created using 90% recycled and repurposed materials. Enjoyed by ages 4 and up.

Each year the State Fair of Texas celebrates our great state with amazing food, shopping, live music and family fun. There are hundreds of daily shows, a nightly parade, free concerts on the Chevy Main Stage, and throughout the grounds, the always popular livestock exhibits and competitions, and of course, Big Tex himself. Plus, the State Fair has the largest new car Auto Show in the Southwest.
