Come see marionettes from Le Theatre de Marionette as they dance and perform to music from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Frozen and more! Meet the musicians and enjoy pre-concert activities beginning at 2:15 pm. For children 3 – 12 and their families.

Family fun at the Spooky Symphony!

Spooky Symphony by Plano Symphony Orchestra

Conductor Hector Guzman and The Plano Symphony Orchestra will present “Spooky Symphony” at the Eisemann Center on Sunday, October 25th.

Pre-concert activities will begin in the lobby at 2:15 pm, followed by the concert at 3 pm.  Magician David Hira will join the orchestra in a magical illusions performance. The Plano Symphony Orchestra will feature music from Star Wars and Harry Potter, as well as Halloween favorites. This performance is wonderful for kids ages 3-12 and their families!

Plano Symphony Orchestra presents – “Carnival of the Animals”

 The Plano Symphony Orchestra, presents “Carnival of the Animals” at the Performing Arts Center in McKinney, Texas, on Sunday, April 19th. “Carnival of the Animals,” written 150 years ago by composer Camille Saint-Saëns by request as a musical joke, later became one of his most famous works. Come watch the Symphony highlight each instrument family and mimic the sounds of different animals. The performance will also include a puppeteer as part of this concert. The animals are having a carnival and everyone is invited! Come for the animals, stay for the music.

Plano International Festival: Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the world

Experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the world at the Plano International Festival, from 11 am to 5 pm on Saturday, October 18th, in downtown Plano’s Haggard Park. Enjoy ethnic cuisine, multicultural music and dance performances, cultural displays, a green Village, Family Health Fair, Children’s global village,  a naturalization ceremony and more.  Kids can make free art projects and get their own passports stamped.
