Have a Ball! Sports Themed Postal Stamps

The U.S. Postal Service will soon release first-of-a-kind stamps with the look — and feel — of actual balls used in eight popular sports. Available nationwide June 14, the Have a Ball! Forever stamps depict balls used in baseball, basketball, football, golf, kickball, soccer, tennis and volleyball.

Teenage students with learning disabilities may wonder whether they will be able to graduate from high school. As a teen I worried over the same issue myself, being diagnosed with dyslexia. But despite my lack of options, learning was very important to me, and I wanted to graduate from high school and college despite my scholastic challenges. Therefore, I set out to teach myself ways to overcome my learning obstacles. Texas families in need of financial assistance for child medical care costs are encouraged to apply for a UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation (UHCCF) grant.

In Texas, UHCCF awarded more than 700 grants since 2013 and is encouraging more Texas families to apply this year. Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 per grant with a lifetime maximum of $10,000 per child, to help pay for their child’s health care treatments, services or equipment not covered, or not fully covered, by their commercial health insurance plan.
