Six Steps to Organize Your Closet in One Weekend

6 Steps to an Organized Closet

How to Organize Your Closet in One Weekend

If you are blessed enough to have a spare closet in your home, you will love the ideas described below for getting your space organized to suit your needs. You might even be able to apply some of them to your own master closet, allowing you to maximize space and give you more function in the space.

Closets are fun to organize, and because they are usually a small space, the project can be completed in a weekend. This makes it clear to see the finish line. It is best to enlist some help before you start. Many times another person will visualize your space totally different than you see it, offering another level of beauty or function. This month, I wanted to share the steps I took to organize the guest room closet of a real client. I will tell you how I planned and organized the space, what I purchased, and what I built in the space to improve the function.

Easter Eggstravaganza and Resource Fair for Special Needs Families

Easter Eggstravaganza for Special Needs Families

4th Annual Easter Event for Special Needs Families on April 19th

by Mina Frannea

Four years ago, a mom with a special needs child decided she wanted to help other families like hers so she created Especially Needed, an organization based on a vision that a community can exist where individuals with special needs are valued, respected and included. A community made up of caring people who serve as a support system as well as mentors to children and adults.

On Saturday, April 19th from 1-3pm, Especially Needed is hosting their 4th annual Easter Event and Resource Fair for individuals with special needs and their families. All participants will have an opportunity to hunt eggs at their own pace so register for a time slot at www.especiallyneeded.org. There will also be special egg hunts for those that require wheelchair assistance.  Other activities include bounce house, pics with the Easter Bunny, games and more.
