Petite Palace, a Circus Like You’ve Never Experienced Before

Petite Palace

The Petite Palace Makes Its North Texas Debut This October

(Win 4 tickets to see a show next Saturday – giveaway details below)

For the first time in North Texas, the Laughter League and The Petite Palace are coming together to create an intimate, eclectic tent show that will take audiences on an unparalleled journey, which combines the dazzling, daring aura of Cirque du Soleil with the madcap mirth of Saturday Night Live.

On the grounds of the picturesque Bath House Cultural Center at White Rock Lake, The Petite Palace is unlike any other circus party North Texas has ever seen. With an up-close and personal experience for 150 circus-goers per performance, there is a tent show that’s a perfect fit for everyone. The family matinees and early-evening performances will bring children of all ages many wonderful memories and lots of belly laughs.  While the late-night cabaret shows are geared for more mature audiences with its tinge of naughtiness.

No matter the performance, you’ll sit front and center for a mesmerizing performance and be immersed in laughter. It’s part circus. It’s part variety show. It’s part cabaret. It’s all fun.

No More Gifts! Families Maxed Out with Gift Clutter

We all receive them, gifts we do not like, do not want, or need. Years ago, someone gave me a moose business card holder. The person who gave me this gift thought as a business owner I could use a place to display my business cards. Maybe she liked wildlife themed décor or maybe she was regifting it because she did not like it herself. Either way, I accepted the gift gracefully and never used it. No doubt we have all been in this situation.

One of our GO Organizers asked me for my advice on “How to handle gifts when you and your kids are maxed out.” It can be a challenge to find the balance between being grateful for the thought and offending family and friends by telling them not to give you any more gifts. I offer you some suggestions that may not eliminate the unwanted gift clutter, but it will certainly help you make better decisions about what you receive.
