The glow of the Chinese Lantern Festival continues to shine at Fair Park, in Dallas, Texas, until February 17, 2014 (Washington’s Birthday weekend). For the first time, the Chinese Lantern Festival encompasses both the western (Gregorian) and eastern (Lunar) New Year. While many holiday lights have dimmed elsewhere, the Chinese Lantern Festival burns bright.

O’Reilly Auto Parts presents the Outlaw National Championship Motor Spectacular at Mesquite Arena, January 31st – February 1st. See the most awesome metal munching monster truck superstars in all out war. It’s  Equalizer, Stinger, Smashosaurus, Tail Gator, Red Solo Truck and Tuff E Nuff in side by side racing, wheelie contests and freestyle.  See freestyle like never before, including vans & car stacks!  Plus don’t forget Sergeant Smash the monster ride hummer.  Outlaw Nationals start at 7:30 pm.  Gates open at 6 pm nightly.

Friday night has a FREE pit party.  Anyone with a ticket can get into the pit party 6-7 pm.  Meet the drivers, get autographs and take your picture with the stars.

Extreme Arenacross Nationals at Mesquite Arena January 24-25

O’Reilly Auto Parts presents the Extreme Arenacross Nationals at Mesquite Arena January 24-25, 2014. See high flying arenacross racing from pee wee’s to the fastest pros from around the country in an all out air assault on the huge indoor track. Featured classes will be the 250F Pro, 450F Pro, and ATV Pro.  All Pro riders will be racing for their share of the big cash purse.  Arenacross Nationals start at 7:30 pm.  Gates open at 6 pm nightly. Friday night is kid’s night.  The first 200 kids get free toy motorcycles.
