The Met Opera will host “Nightly Met Opera Streams” on its official website to audiences worldwide.
These free streams will present encores of past performances from its Live in HD series beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST each night on the company’s official website. They will then be available for an additional 20 hours thereafter. Each showcase will also be viewable on the Met Opera on demand apps.
Fall Singer-Songwriter Music SeriesCityLine Plaza’s singer-songwriter live music series runs through October 28th on Fridays and Saturday from 6-9pm. This free series is open to the public and features local artists who will perform in the plaza next to Good Union Urban BBQ. The performances can also be seen from the patios of area restaurants.

My husband and I had a chance to have a night out to ourselves. For our date night, we went to see Austin-based Del Castillo perform at The Kessler. Formed by talented musician brothers Mark and Rick del Castillo, the band has a great performance style, their music a fusion of Latin and Rock-n-Roll with a resounding, cross-cultural beat that makes you want to get up and move.
Lead singer Alex Ruiz’s voice has a soothing, sultry tone and the artist brings an edgy, soulful energy into his movement on stage that seems to come from a place deep within.
