With extreme weather approaching North Texas, below is a list of emergency warming centers for the general public as well as temporary emergency shelters for unsheltered individuals. Note that this is not a comprehensive list, but hope that it helps.

 Assistance for homeless individuals 

First United Methodist Church, 407 N. Mesquite St. 1/23-1/27 (The shelter will only remain open on dates when overnight temperatures reach degrees or less for four or more consecutive hours. Capacity up to 20. Check-in 7-9pm with check-out at 9am; overnight – breakfast served)
